We are regulars at the Rojo in Rochester and love the experience each time we go. We felt that the Lakeside Rojo didn't provide the same experience. Our waitress was busy trying to coax the child in he booth next to us to eat his chicken and spent a great deal of time doing that. She was not as attentive to our needs as she could have been.
The restaurant just lacked a dining experience. It was more of a "get them in and get then out" type meal. It was a somber atmosphere.
From a restaurant standpoint, there was no selling up food or beverage. We weren't offered tableside guacamole or even told about it. The things that generally make people stay were not offered.
